Our annual TreeKeepers workshop is coming to Camden on June 9th!

It’s that time of year again! NJ Tree Foundation Urban Airshed Reforestation Program will host its annual tree care workshop, TreeKeepers, on June 9th, 2018. TreeKeepers is a fun way for residents and recent tree recipients to get a more in-depth lesson on how to care for their trees, and provides free tools that are helpful for tree care.

Topics covered during TreeKeepers include: basic tree care, tree hazards, how to properly prune a tree, seasonal chores for tree maintenance, watershed health, and much more. This year, we will also discuss some information about the local Circuit Trail network, which runs through Camden. After the classroom training, participants will have the opportunity to practice pruning trees in the area.

Treekeepers is generously hosted by Camden Lutheran Housing and will be located at their office: 800 Galindez Ct., Camden, NJ.

This is an opportunity you do not want to miss! Free tools, training, and breakfast is provided.  Families and groups are welcome. For more information or to RSVP, please contact Meredith at mbrown@njtreefoundation.org or call 856-287-4488.
