We are no longer receiving applications: all the trees for this giveaway have been claimed!

The NJ Tree Foundation is excited to give away yard trees to Newark residents this spring! If you would like to receive a free yard tree, please fill out this application. Supply is limited: trees will be first-come, first-served!  You will receive a reminder email to pick up your tree from a NJ Tree Foundation staff member.

**Trees must be picked up on Saturday May 2, 12PM – 3PM at Weequahic Park.**

All trees are 3-4′ tall in containers, and will easily fit into any size vehicle. We are giving away black gums and redbuds, and will do our best to fill your request, but please be prepared to accept either tree. Please consider the size of the tree at maturity when selecting your the species: we are dedicated to planting the right tree in the right place
