On May 1st and 2nd, the NJ Tree Foundation’s Green Streets Crew planted 34 trees to kick-start the West Maple Neighborhood Street Tree Planting Project! Trees were planted at several sites in Pennsauken along West Maple Avenue and the Federal Street overpass to shield industry, screen noise, provide shade, soften the appearance of development, and create a beautiful corridor into the neighborhood. Trees are an easy way to revitalize our communities. Thank you to the West Maple Neighborhood, a multi-municipal task force, for making this planting possible!
