We invite you to participate in any/all of our tree planting events! Please read and follow these safety measures while volunteering with the NJ Tree Foundation:
- Please bring your own face covering. Face coverings must be worn over the nose, mouth & chin at all times. We will have a few on hand in case you forget yours.
- If you need a break from the mask, please walk 10 feet away from the group.
- We will provide fresh, clean gloves for all volunteers.
- We will do our best to social distance while planting. There will be times when a 6′ distance is impossible. If this makes you uncomfortable we completely understand. Please volunteer with us at a later time.
- All tools will be sanitized before each planting event.
- Please bring your own snacks and water. None will be provided this season.
- Please stay home if you are feeling ill, are exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms or have knowingly been in contact with a person exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms.
If these restrictions are not to your liking, please wait and volunteer with us next year when things hopefully return to “normal”!
We hope you will join us at one of our tree planting events this fall, and look forward to seeing you soon!
